Two businesses, one owner
Event Artistry is the side that goes out. Installations at your venue or your house, built on site, cleared afterwards. The Balloon Shop in Kempston is the other half, for balloons you come and collect.
The rough dividing line is whether anything needs building. If it stands on a floor or goes against a wall, it is this side. If it sits on a table or gets carried in, the shop can sort it in a morning.

We come to you, and we build it there
This is the half of the business that leaves the unit. Garlands, arches, backdrops, light up numbers and full room styling, taken to your venue or your house and built on the day against the wall it is actually going on.
That is the whole difference between the two sides. The shop hands you balloons over a counter. Event Artistry turns up with a van and makes a room look like something.

One supplier for the whole room
Backdrop from one company, letters from another, draping from a third, and three different ideas of what blush means. Booking the room as one job is how you avoid that.
We will speak to your venue about access times and what they allow to be fixed to what, build inside the window they give us, and clear afterwards so nobody is chasing you at midnight.

Family days and company days, the same week
A first birthday in a front room on the Saturday and a store opening before doors on the Monday. Both get the same approach: the colours matched to something physical, and the display sized to the room rather than to a catalogue.
We have worked with Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Baycroft, One Housing and Wells & Co, and on school events including Bedford Modern School.

Tell us the day
The date, the venue and roughly what you picture. A photo you like is plenty to start.

We plan the colours
Chrome, matte, ivory, blush, sage. We match the room and the rest of your styling.

We build it on site
Garlands and arches are built at the venue on the day, so they fit the space properly.

We take it away
Everything comes back down after the event, so you are not left clearing up.

What is the difference between Event Artistry and The Balloon Shop?
Same owner, two businesses. Event Artistry comes to your venue and builds the installation. The Balloon Shop is the counter in Kempston for balloons you collect. They have separate phone numbers so you always reach the right one.
Do you only do balloons?
No. Draping, backdrops, sequin walls, flower and greenery walls, plinths, props and light up letters all stand on their own. Plenty of the styling we do has no balloons in it at all.
Will you work at my venue?
We cover Bedford, Milton Keynes, St Neots, Luton and Hitchin and the towns around them. Tell us the venue and we will confirm, and we will check their access times and fixing rules before quoting.
Can you style a room at home?
Yes, and a lot of what we do is at home. Send a photograph of the room and we will tell you what will fit and where it should go, which is not always the wall people expect.
Do you take it all down afterwards?
Installations are collected after the event, so the venue is left clear and the materials come back with us rather than going in a skip.
How do I get a price?
