Event linen hire

Linen changes a room more than anything else
Most function rooms come with chairs nobody would have chosen. Dark frames, tired banquet seats, a set that has been topped up over the years so no two rows match. Cover them and the room settles down. People stop noticing the chairs and start noticing the tables, the flowers and the balloons.
Tables are the same. A bare trestle reads as a village hall whatever you put on top of it. A cloth with a proper drop hides the legs, the folded ends and the crates of glasses underneath, and it does that to every table in the room at once. It is the same job whether it is a wedding breakfast, a christening or a company dinner.

Fitted to your venue, matched to your colours
Chair covers are not one size. A stacking banquet chair, a chiavari and a folding chair all sit differently, and a cover that gapes at the back looks worse than no cover at all. Tell us the venue and send a photograph of one of their chairs if you can. The same goes for the tables: round or trestle, and what size, because a cloth cut for one hangs badly on the other.
The sash is where your colour goes. It is a narrow band against a plain cover, so a strong colour there reads as a scheme rather than taking over the whole room. Send a swatch, a bridesmaid dress, the invitation or a photograph of something you like and we will get as close to it as we can with the sashes we have. Matching to a physical thing is far more reliable than matching to a colour name, because two people rarely mean the same thing by champagne or blush.
Seamless. Really fab service. Perfect display.

Some of the work
What a linen hire covers
- Chair covers fitted to the chairs your venue already has
- Sashes matched to your colour scheme
- Tablecloths sized to your tables, round or trestle
- Put out and the tables dressed before your guests arrive
- Collected after the event, so the venue is left clear
- Booked alongside balloons, light up numbers and walls, usually set up in the same visit
Worth knowing
Built foryour room
Pound for pound, linen changes a function room more than anything else you can hire. Chair covers, sashes and tablecloths, fitted to the chairs and tables your venue already has, put out before the event and collected afterwards.
Questions
Asked often
Do you put the linen out, or do we?
We do. The linen comes to the venue, the covers and sashes go on and the tables are dressed before your guests arrive. We collect it after the event, so it is not left for you or the venue to sort out.
Will the covers fit the chairs at our venue?
That is the first thing we check. Banquet chairs, chiavari chairs and folding chairs are all different shapes, so tell us where you are holding it and send a photograph of one of their chairs if you can get one. If you know the table sizes as well, say so, because that is what decides the tablecloths.
Can you match the sashes to my colour scheme?
Send a swatch, a photograph, the invitation or a bridesmaid dress and we will get as close to it as we can with the sashes we have, rather than going by a colour name. If we are doing your balloons too, we pick the sashes and the balloon colours at the same time so they agree with each other.
Can we book linen at the same time as the balloons?
Yes, and it is the easiest way to do it. Linen, balloons, light up numbers and walls can usually go in on the same visit, across Bedford, Milton Keynes, St Neots, Luton, Hitchin and the towns around them. Give us as much notice as you can and tell us the venue when you enquire.
