Set up before your guests walk in
Set up is the part that quietly eats your day. Tables to dress, chairs to shift, favours and place cards to lay out, a cake table to build, props to get into the right corner. We come in ahead of your guests and do it, so you are getting ready rather than lifting boxes.
Tell us how you want the room and we will work to that. A sketch, a photo of something you like, or the venue's table plan is enough to go on. If we are already fitting your balloon garland, sequin wall or light up numbers, the same visit covers the rest of the room, so the venue deals with one arrival instead of several.

Through the event, and the clear down after
Once people are in the room there is a steady list of small jobs. Drinks tables need tidying and clearing, gifts and cards need putting somewhere out of the way, glasses and plates need clearing, a chair in the wrong place needs moving before someone goes over it. None of it is hard. It just needs doing by someone who is not you, and it is the difference between an event that runs and one you spend on your feet. Company events work the same way as family ones. We have worked for corporate clients including Wells & Co and Bedford Modern School.
The clear down is the bit nobody plans for. Venues usually want the room back as it was found, and often on the same night. We take down what we put up, bag the rubbish, gather your gifts, cards and anything you are keeping, and get it out to your car. Our installations and hire pieces come back with us.

What do event staff actually do?
Three things. We set the room up before your guests arrive, stay on top of the small jobs while the event runs, and clear the room at the end. What that covers depends on your venue and how much you want to hand over, so we agree it with you beforehand.
Do you clear everything away at the end?
Yes. We take down what we put up, bag the rubbish and leave the room the way the venue expects it. Our installations and hire pieces come back with us, and your gifts, cards and anything you are keeping go out to your car. Nothing is ever released into the sky.
Can I book staff as well as the decorations?
Yes, and it is the tidier way to do it, because one visit covers the install and the rest of the room. Tell us what you need when you enquire and give us as much notice as you can, particularly if your venue only lets you in at a fixed time.
Which areas do you cover?
Bedford, Milton Keynes, St Neots, Luton and Hitchin, plus Kempston, Ampthill, Biggleswade, Sandy, Flitwick, Cranfield, Shefford, Wootton, Stotfold and Bromham. If you are close to those and not on the list, ring the events line on 07584 653282 and ask.
