Balloon arches and garlands

01
Built for the wall it is going on
An organic garland is not a fixed shape. It follows the doorway, the fireplace, the top table or the corner you want people to stand in front of, and it gets denser where the eye lands.
That is why it goes up on the day rather than arriving finished. We work to the room in front of us, which is the difference between a garland that looks like it belongs there and one that looks stuck on.

02
Colour, finish and scale
Chrome against matte is what gives a garland depth. A run of flat pastels reads cheap next to two or three chrome balloons catching the light, and it costs nothing extra to get that right.
Bring us a colour, a fabric swatch, an invitation or a photograph you like. Matching to something physical is far more reliable than matching to a colour name.

03
Garlands with something in them
Eucalyptus, pampas, dried florals, foil shapes, character cutouts, a light up number sitting inside the run. A garland is a frame, and what you put in it is what makes it the child's party or the fortieth rather than a generic decoration.
If you are hiring a sequin wall or a flower wall too, the garland is what stitches them together so the corner reads as one piece.
Colour
Bring us a colour, not a colour name
Two people rarely mean the same thing by blush or sage. Send a photograph, a swatch or the invitation and we match to that instead.
- Blush
- Sage
- Chrome gold
- Ivory
- Dusty blue
- Lilac
- Burgundy
- Ink

Questions
Asked often
How long does a balloon garland last?
An air filled garland holds its shape for days and is fine for a weekend event. Helium filled pieces have a shorter life, which is why big garlands are built on air and only the floating elements use helium.
Do you build the arch at the venue?
Yes. Organic garlands are built on site so they follow the actual wall, and so nothing gets damaged in transit. We arrange access with your venue beforehand.
Can you match my colour scheme exactly?
Send a photograph, a swatch or your invitation and we will match to that. Matching to a physical thing is far more reliable than matching to a colour name, because two people rarely mean the same thing by sage or blush.
Do you take the garland down afterwards?
Installations are collected after the event so the venue is left clear and the materials come back with us.
Which areas do you cover for balloon arches?
Bedford, Milton Keynes, St Neots, Luton and Hitchin, plus Kempston, Ampthill, Biggleswade, Sandy, Flitwick, Cranfield, Shefford, Wootton, Stotfold and Bromham.
