Milestone birthdays
Eighteenth, twenty first, thirtieth, fortieth, fiftieth. The number is the point, so the display is built around it: a light up number, a garland worked around the base, and a backdrop behind it.
One corner done properly beats decoration spread thinly around a whole room. That is where the photographs happen.

Children's parties
Whatever they are into this year. Toy Story, Octonauts, Minions, Stitch, safari, circus, princesses. The character is the brief and everything else is built to sit around it.
First birthdays are their own thing. They tend to be more about the photographs the parents will keep than the party the child remembers, so they get styled accordingly.

Or just the balloons
Not every birthday needs styling. The Balloon Shop in Kempston makes up helium balloons, numbers, bouquets and personalised bubble balloons to collect on the day.
A rose gold number and a run of letters across a bedroom wall is a twenty minute job and it still makes the morning.

Tell us the day
The date, the venue and roughly what you picture. A photo you like is plenty to start.

We plan the colours
Chrome, matte, ivory, blush, sage. We match the room and the rest of your styling.

We build it on site
Garlands and arches are built at the venue on the day, so they fit the space properly.
- 04
We take it away
Everything comes back down after the event, so you are not left clearing up.

Can you do a themed children's party?
Yes. Tell us the character or the theme and we will build the display around it. We have done Toy Story, Octonauts, Minions, Stitch, safari, circus and princess parties.
Do you set up at home as well as at a venue?
Yes. Plenty of the birthdays we do are at home. It usually needs a bit more thought about power and floor space, so mention it when you get in touch.
I just want balloons, not styling. Can you do that?
Yes. The Balloon Shop at 210 Bedford Rd in Kempston makes up helium balloons, number balloons and bouquets to collect on the day.
Can I have a personalised balloon?
Yes. Personalised bubble balloons are hand written with a name, a date or a message. They are one of the things the shop is asked for most.
